Electrical cord fire
In one case against a very large electrical manufacturer, we filed suit for a man who survived a deadly fire that took the lives of his wife and two children. Using experienced chemists and fire experts, as well as video and computer technology, we proved the fire was caused by two extension cords that were linked. One cord, like most cords, was made of self-extinguishing material. However, the plug of the other cord was not and sustained a fire for eight minutes. We sued that cord’s manufacturer for faulty manufacturing. Not only did we obtain a substantial recovery for our client but the manufacturer involved began using a self-extinguishing material for all of its extension cords.
Defectively designed hydraulic lift
Following a paralyzing accident involving a hydraulic lift in a national chain muffler repair shop, we filed a lawsuit on behalf of the injured party. As a result of faulty design, the hydraulic lift failed and dropped a car on our client. We fought to make the lift manufacturer recognize its responsibility and take corrective action so that the public and consumers were no longer in danger from these lifts.
Factory explosion
In a recent case, we obtained a multimillion dollar settlement for a client who was severely injured in an explosion at a local factory. We fought one of the largest aerospace companies in the world to obtain the settlement and used the best experts and technology to do so.
